Is Envly only available as a mobile app?

Yes, for now. We are taking a mobile-first approach

What does it mean to shop sustainably and with intention?

Shopping sustainably means shopping for products that provide environmental, social and economic benefits while protecting public health and the environment over their whole life cycle while shopping with intention means buying only the things that you need when you need them.

What happens when I follow someone?

All their products will appear in ‘My feed'. This allows you to keep track of what your favourite sellers are selling so you can keep up to date with their latest products.

Whats the point of communities?

One thing we discovered was that there was no app or platform for people who cared about the environment. Being able to foster a community of people all geared towards ensuring that we have a future was a big deal for us. What is greenwashing?

Greenwashing is the marketing of a product to make it seem like it has an environmental benefit when it does not. If a seller is caught greenwashing, their account will be "permanently suspended". We take it very seriously.

Can anyone sell?

Yes, anyone can sell on Envly but we have tight restrictions over what you are allowed to sell. Click here to see what you can sell

What do I do if I suspect that a seller is greenwashing?

We recognise that we may not always catch things, thats why we made it very easy to report items. Tap the three dots on the upper right of every listing, tap report and tell us why you think they violate our terms and we will get straight to it.

Can I get refunds?

Yes, you are eligible for a full refund if the item you buy is not as described. We would recommend that you try and resolve the issue with the seller first. If you are not pleased with their response, we will step in.

Selling on Envly

How much is our commission?

We charge an 8% commission when an item sells. Its free to list and we don't charge any transaction fees.

How do I sell on Envly?

You will need to download the app from the App store or Google play store and sign up. It's pretty straight forward from there but you can also contact us if you face any difficulties and we will be there to help, even if you need us to help you list and set up your shop.

What type of packaging should I use for my products

We would prefer you used sustainable packaging, but it's okay if you don't use. In the future though, we would require that all sellers use sustainable packaging for shipping products. Don't worry, we are going to provide enough notice and even help you with the transition when the time comes

Why should I sell on Envly?

Oh, that's easy. Apart from being able to reach more customers, you also get to touch lives through your products. Not all heroes have to wear capes😜

What happens if I get caught greenwashing?

Vamoose you go. But seriously why come to Envly to intentionally mislead buyers when there are other marketplaces that would let you do that just fine. We would usually prompt you with some questions if you are suspected to be greenwashing, if you are found guilty by the court of Envly, you will be sentenced to exile, in other words "permanently suspended"

How do I get paid?

After every fulfilled order, the money is sent to your bank account within 5 business days.

How does order fulfilment and shipping work?

You can fulfil orders easily through the app and shipping will be handled by you for now.

How do I manage orders?

To manage orders, go to the "Manage Orders" feature on the app to identify new orders and shipping addresses
